I am a  Creative  free lance makeup artist  with over 10 years experience in the Makeup Industry.

Previously  a Regional makeup Artist for laura Mercier cosmetics.

My experience also includes Representing other cosmetic lines such as

Estee Lauder, Lancome and More.

My background also  includes tv/film/video/commercials/photo shoots/pageants and theatrical makeup as well .

 I am able to provide makeup services for all skin tones/textures .   My kit comes fully equiped to provide makeup for everyone in your wedding! From Light Ivory To Ebony.

I am able to provide Everything from a very classic natural look to a more modern bridal look such as a  dramatic Look..Glamorous  , vintage ,  Looks  from different era's such as 40's glam or retro. Its your choice, in my eyes you are the Queen for the day :)

EXTRAS-I also can provide and apply Lashes, Both individual lashes or a full set.

 I am based out of Silver Spring, Md. But i happen to be mobile! and for your convience, i travel to you for services from ,your makeup trial  to  your wedding day at your venue of choice. Example-Hotel/your home/ect. And also for  those other special occassions. I come to you as well.

I pride myself on being reliable, punctual and very devoted to my brides. I am always more than willing to do last minute add ons for bridal party members that have a change of heart and would like makeup if time permits.

My policy is to answer all emails & Voice mails within 24 hours or less.  My job is to cater to YOU the Bride and ofcourse the rest of your lovely bridal party. Your Emails and Phone calls are very important to me.

In my experience, having makeup done for the entire bridal party is essential as it results in a fun experience /confidence/ and photos!   Icannot emphasize enough How much more beautiful and balanced  the photos are when  your photographer presents your final photographs.

 And Note- its a great gift to actually give to the ladies in your bridal party rather than a keepsake. Its one less worry for you as the bride and them as well!!!

Consultation aka Makeup trial:

This is always fun! its a chance for you and i to get to know eachother a little and get a feel for what type of a makeup look you would love for your special day!   This will give you the chance  to talk to me about any Questions or  concerns you may about your makeup as well as anyone else in your bridal party in the privacy and comfort of your home & so we can address everything ahead of time.. I just LOVE  it when my brides can provide a  few favorite makeup tear sheets from a magazine as a visual.Its important to have a fairly good idea of a few looks that you have in mine before the trial date

And i  do highly reccommend that the rest of your bridal party bring along a fav makeup tear sheet on the wedding day as well .I love visuals! And since i have usually not had the opportunity to do a trial with the rest of the bridal party this helps the time line as well.

I always keep my camera handy as well so we can take a few photos for a reference point and to see what changes if any, need to be made.

The makeup trial is meant to actualy be a lighter version of  of your actual wedding day makeup...which means we wouldnt use foundation primer or waterproof mascara because we want you to be able to remove  everything easily after the trial.  So keep that in mind :) On your actual wedding day application we will  use those items and you could expect your makeup to have more pigment so you are camera ready. and everthing is long lasting,water resistant and set well and ofcourse we know why we want waterproof mascara :)  Ofcourse, We want longevity for your wedding day.

Feel free to have a friend or relative beside you for the trial  for another opinion as well as support ....the more the merrier !

NOTE-important  Wedding day tip! pick up a transulcent powder compact or blotting tissues to control any oil or Shine.

Also ,your fav lipstick shade to touch up lipstick with a gloss to go over or a combo works great! remind your bridal party to do the same as lipstick is the first thing to go ! 

Reminder:

Waxing/Tanning/Spa ect.

Brides I  Do care about you ! so a just a few words of wisdom.

If you plan to wax your brows or other facial or bodily hair please do so at least 2-3 days prior to the wedding so that you have time for any possible redness or swelling to calm down.

Tanning...if you arent tan at trial..but tan on your wedding day..no worries we will just adjust your makeup :) foundation shade ect..and fill in those little white lines that the bed didnt catch with bronzer lol.

spa!- make certain you ask about what products are being used on your face as i have had the unfortunate experience of seeing bridal party memebers that enjoyed a before the wedding day spa day and ended up with bright red faces/basically a reaction to something like for example maybe an oil used to massage ect.
